It has been 23 days that I have been uploading a photograph everyday to my flickr account this year. Although not belonging to the “new year resolutions” category, it was more of a challenge that I took up to post a photograph everyday. I actually should have been taking a photograph everyday, but there were lots of pictures which were lying idle on my hard drive. So I decided to pick the best ones and start uploading them.

Am planning to increase the number of pictures uploaded to my account to two next month. The biggest challenge right now is in finding some quality time to study about photography and apply them using my camera (A Panasonic Lumix FZ28).

The Car Comes Home After Five Years

This was waiting for five years. It was a goal I had set when I was still doing my masters. An inspiring gentleman who used to be our trainer told us that it is easy to get something done, only if we have a goal. I really had no idea of what lay in store for me in the future, but I had a few dreams. Owning a bike, a car and running my own company were few goals I had put in as my short term (1 Year), medium term (5 Years) and long term (10 Years) respectively.

It should be pure coincidence that I was able to buy a bike, a car exactly in the time frame I had written down in my diary then. Bike in one year after I got a job and a car by five respectively. Now I think setting goals does work. Let me be very frank that I really did not remember that I had set a goal for myself until I bought my car last week. A brand new Swift VDI. It occured to me after I had booked my car and was heading back home. Photograph coming soon.

Dream Come True

It is a dream come true for me. I always wanted to have my own website and a digital camera. I have both of them now. Courtesy: My dear friends. While I was able to get a website long back the digital camera landed in my hands a few months back. I am really excited having both of them. Check out aalasanthosh’s Flickr Photostream.

This is the first post on my own address on the world wide web. Do let me know of themes that are modern, elegant and features a minimalistic design. Prefer free themes as of now. No heavy imagery please.
